The story of the movie starts in the manner that Sid (Farhan Akhtar) who was happily married to Trisha (Vidya Balan) is a struggling musician who earns by making jingles whereas Trisha (Vidya Balan) does job and they were living happily. The story changes when they become parents of a baby girl. Trisha leaves her job to take care of the baby, Sid doesn’t look after the baby and cannot sleep due to which he fails going to studio on time and cannot enjoy with his friends.

If we talk about the acting of Farhan and Vidya it was very good quality even their chemistry blended in an excellent manner. The first half of the movie is very funny till intermission the impact of the movie remains very fine. But the impact that the movie creates in the first half seems to get slowed down in the second as the story starts to drag.
