Sonya Hussyn was offered a Bollywood film opposite Emraan Hashmi


Renowned film and TV actoress Sonya Hussyn recently disclosed that she was offered a Bollywood film alongside A-list actor Emraan Hashmi. However. she but couldn’t take up the project. 

 

In an interview with a local media outlet, Hussyn shared that she had received multiple offers from Bollywood, including one with Hashmi, but couldn’t pursue them due to external factors.

“I had a meeting regarding that project, but then the exchange with India stopped altogether,” Hussyn explained, hinting at the ban on Pakistani artists from working in India

 

She also mentioned other offers she received, including a Shakespeare screen adaptation of Measure for Measure and a sequel to an old Santosh Kumar’s film.

 

When asked about her preference for a Pakistani hero to work with in a film, Hussyn expressed admiration for Ali Zafar, citing his charming demeanor. “I find Ali Zafar very charming. I think he has that charm of a film hero,” she remarked. 

 

 

The actress added that while Fawad Khan also possesses charm, she leans towards Zafar in terms of acting.

 

On the television front, Hussyn was last seen in the lead role of Noor in ARY Digital’s drama serial ‘Tere Bina Mein Nahi‘, alongside Shehzad Sheikh and Aiza Awan.
