Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ehsan Mani has denied rumors of matches not taking place in Pakistan. He has announced that Pakistan is all set to watch PSL 2019 in home ground and there is no change in the schedule. The only minor change made is that all eight matches have now been rescheduled in Karachi only. Hence, it only means that the matches that were supposed to be held in Lahore will also be hosted in Karachi.
At a press conference, Ehsan Mani said that it is an unanimous decision and he is thankful to the franchise owners and stakeholders for cooperation. He further added that all the international players who had previously committed to play in Pakistan, are still equally excited to come and play their best.
Salman Iqbal, the owner of Karachi Kings and Sameen Rana, COO of Lahore Qalandars, along with other franchise owners, agreed with PCB and stand by the plan.
