Humaima Malik being signed opposite Emraan Hashmi for Kunal Deshmukh’s forthcoming film Shaatir? True or False? Apparently Emraan Hashmi aka the serial kisser of Bollywood who was very eager to have the Pakistani actress be cast opposite him. Kunal the director says, “I liked Humaima’s screen test. But we are also looking at new faces”. This clearly shows that they have not decided yet if Humaima fits best for the role. While Emraan adds, “We are in the process of finalising a female lead for Shaatir. Though no one has been confirmed yet, the makers will make an announcement as soon as things get finalized”.

Let’s wait and watch if another Pakistani actress is lucky enough to do a Bollywood film with this serial kisser.

Ranbir Kapoor the youngest “Batameez” super star of the Bollywood is all set to win his fan’s hearts all over again after his last film “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani”. Ranbir Kapoor and director Abhinav Kashyap are all set to launch the first trailer of Besharam next week. Where? In an orphanage! instead of launching the first look in a Hotel or a Multiplex, the makers of Besharam have planned something special and different for the launch…weird? Most defiantly Ranbir plays an orphan in it. So they thought no better place than the orphanage to show the kids first. Also first time in Bollywood history trailer will be launched in an orphanage, will it have an impact to the movie or not? Well only time can tell when the film is released.

Also the movie will feature Ranbir’s parents – Rishi Kapoor & Neetu Singh, it will have Ranbir playing the role of a thief.

Indian politician Baba Siddiqui organised a Iftar party on Sunday evening in Mumbai, turned out to be the biggest event of the year, He invited the two Bollywood’s biggest superstars the “Khans”, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan.

The thing which shocked all of the media and the people who were invited at the event was that Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan came face to face for the first time after the unpleasant fall-out five years ago at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party. Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan Both Hugged at the event, as expected all the guests present at the party broken to applause at this sight. But this was not really their patch up! As Salman Khan already said to Katrina Kaif’s five years ago when she tried to explain to Salman that Shahrukh is a nice guy. But Salman won’t listen to anyone about patching up with him. Therefore he had to stick to his words. While talking to the media Baba Siddiqui said “Both Salman and Shahrukh are my good friends, both were invited to the party, both of them came, hugged each other so it’s a good thing. I didn’t do anything, Allah did it,” But! There is a “BUT” to it too!

Salman Khan’s Brother Sohail Khan said to the media lately “Bhai has said many times in the past that he would never again be friends with Shahrukh. Their differences are irreconcilable. And that’s how it remains. The hug at the Iftaar party just happened because of circumstances. Neither Bhai nor Shahrukh could say no to their host when he led Salman to Shahrukh. They’ve the highest regard for him. And that’s why they were both there at the same place at the same time. It was only because of the host that Bhai made that gesture. There is nothing more to it.”

This clearly shows us that this “HUG” was not to patch up. Sohail Khan also said “They just greeted each other. There is nothing more to it.” Well who knows! It’s bollywood dramas are meant to happen!

Lately the Pakistani actors & singers are getting a lot of roles in Bollywood like Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam, Veena Malik, Mona Liza etc, Pakistani super star a model, singer and a actress Meesha Shafi, who made her movie debut in Mira Nair’s The Reluctant Fundamentalist, will next be seen in Bollywood Movie, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag”. Starring Farhan Akhtar & Sonam Kapoor which is slated to release on July 12.

In the film, Meesha will be seen playing the role of Milkha’s best friend. Meesha said in the news that, “Our cultural heritage and stories are so deeply rooted that it is only natural to relate to the cinema being made here. Art is definitely a universal language and just as Bollywood has a huge audience in Pakistan; Pakistani music has a vast listener-ship in India”.

She also claimed that, “Both countries are doing an immense service by bridging gaps and reaching out to the people. In fact, I would say that Bollywood and Pakistan have an age-old relationship”.
