Having chit chat with celebrities are very common these days. It helps to know about celebrities more and also a sort of medium for their die heart fans to know more about them. There were many similar shows aired on various Pakistani channels in the past that had their own charm like “Brunch with Bushra” hosted by the famous actress Bushra Ansari and “Shareef Show” which was hosted by great comedian Omer Shareef.
These shows were very popular as they were hosted by great lengends of Pakistani media. Same kind of chit chat show is going to start soon by the name “The Lighter Side of Life” that is sponsored by TUC biscuits. This time the show is hosted by young Mahira Khan who got popular over night with her drama serial “Humsafar”.
The designing and concept of the show is somewhat similar to the show “Koffee with Karan” that is hosted by a famous indian Director Karan Johar who invites great bollywood celebrities and have some hot and spicy chit chat with them.
The teaser of the show reveals that there will be some extra frankness in-between the host and the guests which might not be liked by most of the pakistani’s as its not part of our culture. But overall, this show has the potential to make some good ratings. Let’s see how this show turns out to be. Fingers are crossed.
