Is your news feed filled with Mehwish Hayat‘s pictures and videos?
No no, it is not another award and not even her recent release, Chhalawa. In fact it is her item song performance in the upcoming Pakistani film, Baaji. After being the Billi in Namaloom Afraad, the versatile actress has become Gangster Guriya. Well, that is what the song is called. Mehwish is seen in a whole different get up.
The song depicts the Dillagi lead actress as a wholesome Bollywood item girl, somewhat like Katrina Kaif in her song Kamli from the movie Dhoom 3. Her moves and costumes, throughout, are a little bit too outrageous.
As soon as the song released, people have bombarded their opinions and comments. Most of the public wants the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, which was already a controversy when awarded to Mehwish, to be cancelled. Pakistanis from all around the world believe that this new item number is full of vulgarity and indecency, which is certainly not Pakistani culture and what we wish to put out in the world as a civilized nation. Many of them, also tagged Hamza Ali Abbasi who recently talked against the filth of item number in the Pakistani media industry, on his show as a judge.
