Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat has always been vocal about what’s happening in occupied Kashmir on national and international platforms and the fans have always respected her for this but we doubt if they still do.
Recently Mehwish was asked at an event about the Kashmir issue, however the actress refused to talk about it and said “Mana ker diya ha mujhe Kashmir per bolne se”. Her fans could not resist and lashed out at the actress for being selfish.
Mehwish Hayat responded via twitter by saying “the leaked video is being taken out of context. I’ve been the most vocal on #Kashmir issue globally & will continue to do so. I have big plans for next steps. This was a charity event & was requested by the PR not to be political & not distract from the orphans I was there to help”.
