These rumors started following Sania’s split from Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik earlier this year and Shami’s ongoing separation from his wife, Hasin Jahan. However, Sania’s father, Imran Mirza, has firmly denied these claims, stating to NDTV, “This is all rubbish. She has not even met him.”
