Last Friday was a huge weekend in Dubai and all credit goes to Filmfare Middle East re launch. A great range of stars gathered to be a part of this successful event at the Rang Mehal in Bollywood Parks Dubai.
Stars graced the red carpet in all glamour. The list includes Fawad Khan, Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone, Manish Malhotra. All of them took it to their social media account as well. And the audience was in awe of their looks.
Fawad, Karan and Manish made their entry in a buggy, very gracefully which can be seen in the video below:
Our stars that represented Pakistan on this international forum, besides Fawad, were the beautiful Mehwish Hayat, the handsome Hasnain Lehri and the elegant Javed Shaikh. Mehwish was honored as Pakistani Icon of the Year. The actress took this opportunity to draw attention to how disappointing it is to not have Pakistani films released in India, whereas Pakistan always pours love for the Indian movies.
Also Fawad who is a heartthrob over the borders, was awarded the Best Cinematic Icon Award. He is also the only Pakistani star to grace the Filmfare cover once and win the Filmfare Best Actor (Debut) Award for his performance in the Indian movie “Khoobsurat”. The veteran actor Javed Shaikh however seemed contented with the love he gets from the Indian audience.
Deepika was chosen to unveil the first issue of the FilmfareME. She showed her gratitude for being there on the cover.
