Pakistani actress Madiha Imam opened up about her intercultural marriage and love story in an interview with a digital magazine. She met her husband, Moji Basar, on the set of her first Bollywood film, “Dear Maya,” where he was an intern in the production team.
Madiha was immediately attracted to Moji’s hard-working nature and good looks. She shared her feelings with her mother, planning to confess to him the next day. However, she discovered that Moji had a girlfriend, which put an end to her initial hopes.
Despite this, they became good friends and stayed in touch, with Moji often seeking her advice on setting up a professional podcast. Over time, Madiha found out that Moji was no longer in a relationship. Their conversations grew more frequent, and they eventually met in Dubai when both were in the city for different reasons. This meeting led them to decide to get married.
Madiha revealed that Moji is four years younger than her and proposed after nine months of dating. They arranged for their families to meet and chose a wedding date based on everyone’s availability.
Unfortunately, Madiha’s father had an accident and was bedridden, preventing both him and her mother from attending the wedding in Dubai. Despite these challenges, Madiha and Moji went ahead with their plans and got married.
