Popular Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat recently shared her thoughts on marriage during a show, sparking widespread attention online. In a candid conversation, she discussed her reasons for remaining single and her expectations for a future partner.
When asked if she had found someone worth marrying, Hayat responded honestly, “Let me be honest, I haven’t found it.” She explained that her early career focus had kept her occupied, leaving little room for personal relationships. “I don’t want somebody to fall in love with me because I am Mehwish Hayat. I want them to fall in love with me for the person I am inside,” she added.
The 41-year-old actress also reflected on the kind of person she seeks, emphasizing personality over looks. “I don’t have specific measurements for my future husband but I do want him to be tall. Outward beauty and complexion don’t matter to me, but he must have a good personality and should look like a man,” Hayat said, humorously adding that her ideal man would blend the best qualities of actors Humayun Saeed and Fahad Mustafa.
Hayat expressed her belief in a genuine connection based on mutual desire and respect, saying, “Before developing a relationship, I think about the fact that I am a living being and should have a relationship with someone I genuinely want to be with.”
