The drama serial Bakhtawar is based on a real life story of a woman called Fareen Ishtiaq, who has been through tough situations in her life.
In the drama Bakhtawar, the main lead "Bakhtawar", played by Yumna Zaidi, leaves her home to make her future better and live her life she always dreamt of.
She moved from a village with her mother into a city, living life as a boy.
