Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, directed by debut director Mandeep Kumar, starring real life couple Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza. It is cute love story with good comedy.

Vien (Ritesh) is a hard working poor rikshaw driver, who goes out for work before dawn. He works for a businessman Bhatti (Tinu Anand) who owns many rakshaws one of which is rented out to Viren. Mini (Genelia) who is Bhatti's daughter. her father wants her to get married to a good for nothing rich guy, who wants marry Mini only because she has a green card. So she wants to run away.

One morning, when Viren goes to work he found out that Bhatti has sold all the rakshaws and had replaced them with four Toyota Innovas. Viren used to save his earning under the seat of his rakshaw, now his savings has gone. Full of rage he gets drunk and goes to Bhatti's place, where Mini is getting engaged. Mini took advantage of this situation and escapes with Viren making it look like that Viren has kidnapped her. And then they both fell in love with each other and get kidnapped by someone else.

Genelia as Mini is a fun loving punjabi girl. Her performance is very good and she looks super cute. Her role is endearing. we have seen Ritesh in many comedy roles and this time in his attempt as romantic hero and he has done a decent job. he is not outstanding in this movie but his comic timing makes up for it. There is a great chemistry between this real life couple. In supporting castes we see some good performances of Navin Prabhakar, Om Puri, Chitrasi Rawat and Tinu Anand.

Debut director Mandeep Kumar has done an average job, the pace of the movie is slow and the screenplay could have been more crisp. Instead of a good plot, the director couldn't do complete justice to it. Though the colors and culture of Punjab has been potrayed well.

The music is good but not outstanding. Pee Pa Pee Pa Ho Gaya is fun song. Piya O Re Piya & Tu Mohabbat Hai by Atif Aslam are catch and remix Video of Tu Mohabbat faturing Atif Aslam in the end of the movie is a treat for all his fans.

It is a typical Punjab base Bollywood film. The first half is little borig but in the second half, with the entry of Om Puri, the movie comes alive. The plot is good and it has a sweet story but with a weak screenplay the movie becomes average. But after watching the movie you will definitly come out smiling.
